It's that yucky/crappy time of the year again and much to my suprise I've have several requests to get this site updated for the winter.

Blue_Marsh	50%	25%	Tue 6 PM, Dec 22	tduro	4-5" of snow, I'd guess. A bit much for MTB, but not quite enough for XC. I did a little XC on grassy areas and it was OK, but I'm afraid I'd be scraping dirt and rocks on the trails. It might be passable on MTB, but it'll be a workout for sure.	Weather	UPD

MTOP-EastOf437	25%	110%	Sun 10 PM, Feb 14	JeffSkisM	Feb 10th Snowstorm blanketed the trails with about 12 to 14 inches of fresh powder....remember there was a solid base foundation of 1 to 2 inches of deeply frozen snow. Ski conditions are really good on all the trails. Riding is pretty much out of the question except on the railroad beds that have been nicely packed by the snowmobiles.	Weather	UPD
MTOP-WestOf437	25%	75%	Thu 10 PM, Feb 18	JeffSkisM	Got out tonight and skied "Pirates Treasure". Warning don't ski this alone! This trail has a direct southern exposure so the snow had compacted and developed a fairly thick crust on the lower 3/4. The climb up was pretty tough....long and steep in sections. The ride down was hairaising....way to narrow and tilted with a shrinking snow cover.	Weather	UPD
Moon_Lake	100%	0%	Sat 4 PM, Jan 23	JeffSkisM	1/23/10 Really Great Shape! No Snow and little Ice. Best to ride mornings before it southern exposures thaws. Rode Big Blue, Natures Way, Deacon Trials area, T Rex 1 & 2, NFS(, Skinny, "8", the new Ledgeview,Screamer, Sqeezer, The Dark, Buddys and a few others. The new Ledgeview is a great addition and can easily be made into a figure eight ride by including "8" with it, good in both directions!	Weather	UPD
Slocum	100%	0%	Sun 10 PM, Feb 7	WVMTBA	2-7-10 Trails in great shape. Dusting of snow on only in shaded area, ground is frozen, ice only on back side of Mocanaquah/SRD trail in a few spots. So be carefull there.	Weather	UPD

French_Creek	0%	75%	Wed 6 PM, Dec 23	tduro	I did some XC skiing there this afternoon. Access roads, fields, and the like were nice. Trails with rocks were not good. I put some considerable wear and tear on my skis in only a few miles. I only saw one set of MTB tracks. They were in a no MTB area, and really wrecked the trail for XC skiing. Fortunately the douche bag only made it a 1/2 mile or so, so damage was limited.	Weather	UPD

110%: SUPER, fast, fun. Get outside, leave work now!
